Master Drummer Abdoulaye Diallo hails from Ziguinchor Senegal, West Africa. Abdoulaye started playing drums when he was six years old in his home village. He later went on to tour the world performing & sharing West African Drumming & Dance with his performing ensemble Baskolo. Abdoulaye moved to the United States in 2000. He currently lives in Salinas California and teaches West African Drumming & Dance. He performs with his current performing ensemble Tam Tam Sacree Drums.

Abdoulaye is based on the Monterey Peninsula and dedicated to sharing African Music & Culture through performance, teaching, drum building, making djembe & dunduns & taking groups of students to Senegal  for music & cultural experiences.

Tam Tam Sacree Drums Performing Ensemble is Abdoulaye's group of experienced drummers that accompany Abdoulaye for all classes, performances & drum circles.

 With over 30 years of professional experience Tam Tam Sacree Drums has performed at a variety of events, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, facilitating drum circles, schools & universities and teaching classes & workshops. Tam Tam Sacree Drums dynamic and engaging performances have brought smiles and joy to those they perform for and earned rave reviews from clients and audiences alike. 

Djembejourney is about providing an uplifting, attention-getting, interactive drumming experience for everyone to enjoy, regardless of their musical abilities or age. We provide quality interactive rhythm based events for multi-generation groups in Communities, Education, Health and Corporate workplace environments. Through hands on music making and interactive performances, we seek to enhance teamwork, cultural appreciation, community spirit. Each participant gets to share their own special unique beat with the group which connects everyone together.   And in doing so, we break the ice for first time  guests to become new friends with one another in the community and work environment.
